Local leaders gathered in the Seven Hills community on Saturday to usher in a new project to honor Paulding County’s service members who have sacrificed for their nation.

State Senator Jason Anavitarte posted about a new memorial tree project on X that was unveiled to the community over the weekend.

The Paulding County Sheriffs Office, State Rep. Trey Kelley, veterans from American Legion Post 111, as well as representatives from the Georgia Army National Guard took part in Saturday’s ceremony to remember Veterans Day.
