Two dead, one injured in late Monday shooting in western Paulding County; Police asking for public’s help with tips

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office have not yet released the names of the victims – two of whom were shot and killed late Monday night – and a third who was taken to an Atlanta-area medical center for further treatment.

Additionally, the PCSO is seeking the public’s assistance in providing information to help detectives find two suspects who were reported to have fled from the shooting in the Sunset Mountain Subdivision.

When available, officials stated they would be sharing additional information about the investigation and names of those who were killed and injured.

For now, Paulding officials have provided Paulding Today with the following release:

Paulding Detectives are investigating a triple shooting that occurred during the overnight hours in western Paulding County. As a result of the shooting, two individuals are deceased and one individual is in critical condition at an Atlanta area hospital.

At approximately 10:49 PM on March 21, 2022, Paulding E-911 was contacted by one of the residents of 251 Chesapeake Way Rockmart, GA 30153 (Sunset Mountain Subdivision) indicating that there was a triple shooting that had just occurred. The complainant advised that two individuals came to the home and met with the three male victims. For reasons not yet known, the victims were shot and the two other individuals then left the residence.
