A national cookie chain is coming to Paulding County this year, with hopes to have everything up and running by this summer.

Company officials from Crumbl – a company that has expanded over the past seven years – is bringing their unique flavors of baked goods to Hiram by early summer, weather permitting and no construction delays are encountered along the way.

Plans are in the works to locate the store at 5220 Jimmy Lee Smith Parkway, Hiram.

Crumbl began in 2017 with their first location in Logan, Utah. It was founded by cousins Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley and has since expanded across the country.

Locations around the Paulding area already in place include options in the Metro Atlanta complex, along with Douglasville, Marietta, Acworth, and a location in Dalton and Fort Oglethorpe in the Northwest Georgia area.
