At a surprise ceremony held at the Sheriff’s Office Training Center last Thursday, Corporal Kevin Dutton was selected as the Employee of the Month for July 2023, by the Paulding County Board of Commissioners.
County Manager Frank Baker came to the Sheriff’s Office Training Center to present the award with Sheriff Gary Gulledge.
Corporal Dutton, who is one of our Georgia P.O.S.T. Certified Instructors at the Sheriff’s Office Training Center, was selected as the employee of the month for his hard work and dedication over the past several months on the new Taser 7 implementation program.
“Corporal Dutton has been employed for nearly 14 years at the Sheriff’s Office and has always been an exemplary employee,” stated Sheriff Gary Gulledge.
He went on to state, “Kevin is a vital part of our Training Division and spearheaded the transition over to the Taser 7 conducted energy weapon. We could not have completed this project without his hard work and dedication.”
Corporal Dutton was extremely surprised and humbled to have received this award. Congratulations to Corporal Kevin Dutton on a job well done!
