Christopher David Coleman was born on February 26, 1992 in Toledo, Ohio.
As those that knew Chris can attest, he had a caring nature and tenacious spirit. He had a laugh that could warm a home, and a sense of humor that made everyone feel like they were in on the joke.
Chris served in the Georgia Air National Guard, worked as a lineman with IBEW, and was a Master Mason at Buelah Lodge 698. What Chris did, he did fully, whether it was serving his nation, working as an essential worker during the pandemic, or dedicating himself to his marriage with the love of his life, Cheyenne.
Chris passed his time caring for their horses, Caddy and Shy, and enjoying music, grilling out, NASCAR, and the outdoors with his friends, family, and bloodhound, Brooks. In a world where perfection does not exist, Chris dedicated himself to being a good man. While his life was not short on hardships, Chris did not allow it to harden him.
He was as generous in spirit as he was with his words; he was known to always offer encouragement or a helping hand to those who needed it.
Chris left this Earth on July 3, 2022. His absence will be felt deeply and eternally by those that knew him. He will rest at the place he called home, his wife’s side, so he may never be alone. He is preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Coleman.
Chris is survived by his loving wife, Cheyenne; his loving mother, Michelle Coleman; his dear brother, Jacob Coleman; his sister, Kaylynn Hier; grandparents, Dave and Marge Williams and Connie and Chip Krall; grandmother, Sue Coleman; grandmother, Betty Hier; aunt and uncle, Bub and Dawn Williams; uncle, Bill Mohr; many cousins, extended family, and friends who loved him very much.
A Memorial Service for Chris will be held at West Ridge Church on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Paul Richardson officiating. Those that knew Chris are invited to celebrate his life. The family requests that flowers be sent to the church, 3522 Hiram Acworth Hwy, Dallas, GA 30157.
