The work is wrapping up to build a new hub for all things literature in Dallas, and it set to open this spring to provide a nurturing space for book lovers of all ages.

Monica Anderson is soon to open Birch Tree Bookstore at 8879 Dallas Acworth Hwy, Suite 135 in the coming weeks as she puts the finishing touches one of the newest businesses in Paulding County.

Her goal is for Birch Tree Bookstore to be a haven for book lovers, featuring comfy seating, an always free coffee corner, and an engaging children’s corner.

“Birch Tree Bookstore is a labor of love, inspired by the memory of my late father,
Burchell “Burch” Smith, who instilled in me a lifelong passion for reading,” stated
Monica Anderson, Founder of Birch Tree Bookstore. “When he passed, I knew I
wanted to not only share that love with my community, but also help inspire a new
generation of readers.”

The store is going to have a stock of new and pre-loved titles in contemporary fiction, non-fiction, young adult, children’s books, and much more.

Anderson comes into the new business opportunity as an avid book lover, local mother, and co-host of the “90’s Kid Book Club” podcast. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and has 10+ years of professional experience in teaching, training, and business operations.

She hasn’t announced an official opening date, but one is expected to posted online at Birch Tree Bookstore on Instagram @bookstorebichtree, on Facebook, or at their website www.bookstorebirchtree.com.
