The following arrests were reported as of 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022:

Scotty Ray Bryczek, 48, of 240 E. Spring St., Dallas, was arrested by the Dallas Police Department and booked into the Paulding County Jail at 7:29 p.m. on March 14, 2022 on charges of a felony charge of purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of controlled substances or marijuana, and misdemeanor charges of possession of drug related objects, no proof of insurance and driving while license suspended or revoked.

Kamesia Michelle Carter, 32, of 1614 Cashtown Road, Bremen, was jailed by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office and booked on March 14, 2022 at 11:49 a.m. on a felony failure to appear charge, and a misdemeanor warrant charge.

Adam Kent Espinosa, 35, of 122 Oak Path, Hiram, was arrested by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office and booked on March 14, 2022 at 8 p.m. on a felony charge of fugitive from justice, and misdemeanor charges of failure to appear, battery, cruelty to children in the third degree and criminal trespass.

John Clifford Kirby, 34, of 411 Remington Lane, Acworth, was booked into the Paulding County Jail on March 14, 2022 at 10:38 a.m. to go to a court appearance.

Timothy Aron Lee, 40, of 5452 Central Church Rd., Douglasville, was booked by the Paulding County Sheriffs Office at 9:56 p.m. after his arrest on March 14, 2022 on charges of failure to maintain lane and driving while license suspended or revoked.

Joshua Matthew Massengill, 40, of 539 Friendship Church Road, Douglasville, was arrested by the Paulding County Sheriffs Office and booked on March 14, 2022 at 9:21 p.m. on felony charges of two counts of trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana or methamphetamine, two counts of purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of controlled substances or marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (first offender,) possession of a firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain felonies, and theft by receiving stolen property. A hold was also placed on him in the jail.

Bryan Keith McGarity, 53, of 101 Benson Road, Dallas, was arrested on March 14, 2022 and booked into the Paulding County Jail at 9:22 a.m. on misdemeanor charges of simple assault under the family violence act and an additional charge that was listed as “criminal attempt to commit a (M).”

Lauren Elizabeth Smith, 37, of 77 Legen Creek Hollow, Douglasville, was arrested by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office on two failure to appear charges and a warrant arrest and was booked on March 14, 2022 at 11:06 a.m.

Morris Earl Sykes, 53, of 182 Tricias Way, Temple, was booked on March 14, 2022 at 3:30 p.m. on a single charge of contempt of court.
