Ms. Barbara Ann Thames, age 77, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022.
Barbara was a resident of Woodstock Nursing Home and Rehab since late 2018, after suffering from a stroke.
Barbara was born on September 28, 1944 in Canton, Ohio to Betty Jane and Robert Maxwell Brooks.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert Brooks of Lake Worth, Florida.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (John) Cassard; daughter, Julie (Glen) McRae; Son, James (Elizabeth) Thames; brother, Brad (Terri) Brooks, brother, Bart Brooks; many grandchildren / great grandchildren, and special friends, Debby Atcheson, William (Bill) Law, Hazel Hall and Paula White.
Barbara’s wishes were to be cremated.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 10th 2022 at 2:00 PM at North Paulding Baptist Church (700 School Road, Dallas, Ga).
