Mrs. Shirley Sue Head, age 69, of Hiram, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital.
Mrs. Head was born on February 9, 1953 in Rockmart, Georgia to Mr. William Charles Watts, Sr. and Mrs. Sarah Lee York Watts. Prior to his passing, she was married to Mr. Larry Gene Head, Sr. for 39 years. She worked as a nursing assistant for Garden Terrance Nursing Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Gene Head, Sr.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Charles (Sarah Lee York) Watts; brother, Tommy Watts.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Angela Marie Vazquez, Amanda Leigh Schultz; son, Larry Gene Head, Jr.; grandchildren, Kristen Schultz, Brittany Schultz, Brandon Schultz, and Dezarae Vazquez; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Tina Adams (Paul), Ann Priest, Wanda Holder (Donnie); brother, Bill Watts.
Graveside Services for Mrs. Shirley Sue Head will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 2 P.M at New Hope Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends on Friday, April 15, 2022 from 12 P.M. – 1:30 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
