Mrs. Shalonda Inez Coleman, age 46, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital.
Mrs. Coleman was born on March 21, 1976 in Gainesville, Florida to Mr. John Lee Porter and Mrs. Jean Ethel Watkins. She worked as a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her father, Mr. John Lee Porter.
Shalonda is survived by her daughter, Sherika Disha Moody; son, Malik Coleman; granddaughter, Miracle Coleman; spouse, Freddie Lee Sapp; mother, Jean Ethel Watkins; sisters, Shervon Watkins (Ricky Collins), Lisa Johnson (Jackie), Jasamine Banks (Randell); brother, Peter Porter; nieces and nephews; Godchildren, Nyla, Ranaya, and Ray; special friend, Patrick Bradley; special nieces, Nicole Watkins, Krystle Watkins, and Aniyah Saleem; many other family and friends also survive.
Memorial service for Mrs. Shalonda Inez Coleman will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 1 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
The family will be receiving friends at the Benson Funeral Home on Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 12 P.M. – 1 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to help cover funeral costs.
