Mrs. Joyce Dodd Haney, age 78, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at her residence.
Mrs. Haney was born March 18, 1943 in Cedartown, Georgia to Mr. Robert Wesley Sparks and Mrs. Lois Leona Perry Sparks. Mrs. Haney worked for many years for Allstate Insurance. She was a Senior Commercial Audit Analyst. Mrs. Haney was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church.
Mrs. Haney was preceded in death by: Husbands, Mr. Lonnie Dodd, Mr. Junior Fennell, Mr. Lynn League and Mr. Scott Haney; Daughter, Miss Sherry Dodd; Son, Mr. Nickey Dodd; Grandson, Mr. Robbie Dodd; Granddaughter, Miss Olivia Thompson; Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wesley (Lois Leona Perry) Sparks; Brother, Mr. Perry Sparks.
Mrs. Haney is survived by: Daughter, Mrs. Angie Wyatt (Eddie); Daughter, Miss Nicolette Dodd; Step Son, Mr. Daniel Haney; Step Daughter, Ms. Jenae Jordan; Step Daughter, Mrs. Vickie Powell (Mike); Step Son, Mr. Kenneth Fennell (Joy); Grandchildren, Ashleigh Thompson (Todd), Levi Wyatt (Cora); Katie Voyles (Chase), Easton Hawk, Skyla Haney, Matthew Lee, Susan Jordan, Michael Powell, Christy Maxwell, Hannah Fennell and Magen James; 7 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Linda Hiett (Joe); Brother, Mr. Bobby Sparks (Bobbie); Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Haney will be conducted Sunday, March 6, 2022, 1:30 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home. Rev. Eddie Wyatt and Rev. Levi Wyatt will officiate. Interment will follow at Rockmart Memorial Gardens.
Visitation for Mrs. Haney will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, 2:00 – 6:00 P.M. and Sunday, March 6, 2022, 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home.
