Matthew Lloyd Minnick, age 29, of Dallas, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at his residence.
Matthew was born on February 1, 1993 in Dunedin, Florida to Mr. Michael Lloyd Minnick and Mrs. Teresa Elaine McKane Minnick.
He worked as a welder at A-1 Construction. He attended Furtah preparatory graduated in 2011 played basketball at Furtah Preparatory. He loves hunting, fishing and basketball. He also loves to watch football and visit Maryland to eat crabs.
Matthew is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Don Simmons; Grandfather, William Oliver; Grandmother, Grace Oliver; Uncle, George Balling; Aunt, Lisa Lerch; Aunt, Robin Hartmon.
He is survived by; Spouse, Lyndsey Minnick of Dallas, Ga.; Parents, Michael and Teresa Minnick of Dallas, Ga.; Grandmother, Mary Simmons of Kennesaw, Ga.; Grandfather, Danny McKane (Pam) of Marion, Ill.; Brothers, Anthony Minnick of Dallas, Ga. and Preston Capogreco of Dallas, Ga.; Step Children, Mason, P.J. and Arianna; Uncles, Paul Minnick (Edey) of Orlando, Fl., John Minnick of Belair, Maryland, Gary Hartmon of Belair, Maryland; Ray McKane (Annie) of Mount Carmel, Ill; Aunt, Patricia Balling of Baltimore, Maryland.; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive.
Funeral services for Matthew Minnick will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Atlanta West Pentecostal Church with Pastor Darrell Johns, Pastor Alonzo Terry, and Pastor Ronald LeSueur officiating. Internment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. – 2:00 P.M. at Atlanta West Pentecostal Church.
