The Hiram-Rosenwald School Museum this Sunday played host to an important event in Paulding County, one held to remember the importance of freedom and equality across the United States.

Hiram Mayor Frank Moran presented a proclamation celebrating Juneteenth locally during the event, which also included a parade around the city limits during festivities held at the museum in Grey’s Mill Park on Sunday, June 19.
