Students from Hiram Elementary School got recognition for being on their best behavior in the community after receiving awards from the Hiram City Council and Mayor on Tuesday evening.

Mayor Frank Moran and the Council recognized Kindergartener Baylor Hickerson, first grader Harmony Belt, second grader Dhani Harris, third grader Zoey Lewis, fourth grader Taryn Hambrick-Crawford and fifth grader Michael Ogbodo during the April 12 regular session of the City Council.

The recognition of their Citizenship awards came from each grade level at Hiram Elementary.

City officials passed along their congratulations to the youth in a release on the City of Hiram website, and added “thank you for your contribution to our community! Keep up the great work!”
