The following arrests were reported as of 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 17, 2022:

Edward Cesar Alamia, 23, of 7 Brookstone Drive, Rome, was arrested by the Hiram Police and booked into the Paulding County Jail on March 16, 2022 at 4:27 p.m. on misdemeanor charges of driving while license suspended or revoked and speeding.

Phillip Harold Cantrell, 49, of 599 Morningside Drive, Hiram, was taken into custody by the Dallas Police Department and booked into jail on March 17, 2022 at 12:09 a.m. on misdemeanor charges of windshields, wipers or tints, operating motor vehicle without having required revalidation decal affixed to license plate, no proof of insurance, open container in a motor vehicle, DUI – multiple substances, and driving while license suspended or revoked.

Casey Allen Durham, 23, of 1005 Buckeye Lane, Villa Rica, was booked into the Paulding County Jail on March 16, 2022 at 11:13 a.m. by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office on two misdemeanor failure to appear charges.

Robert Lewis Gruen, 28, of 1728 46th St., Des Moines, Iowa, was taken into custody by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office on March 16, 2022 at 6:55 p.m. on charges of pedestrian under influence of alcohol or drug.

Paul Ambrose Lawrence, 60, of 40 Walnut Way, Dallas, was booked into the Paulding County Jail by the Sheriff’s Office on March 16, 2022 at 3:45 p.m. on a probation violation charge.

Tammy Marie Ross, 47, of 269 Simms Road, Carrollton, was taken into custody by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the jail on March 16, 2022 at 10:03 a.m. on a single failure to appear misdemeanor charge.

Mervin Kendrick Taylor, 36, of 142 N. Springs Dr., Acworth, was arrested by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office and booked into the jail on March 16, 2022 at 6:03 p.m. on charges of battery – intentionally causes substantial physical harm or visible bodily harm to another and a felony charge of aggravated battery.

Rodrigo Cortez Woodward, 20, of 1477 Akridge St., Atlanta, was booked into the Paulding County Jail on March 16, 2022 at 10:44 a.m. by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office on a felony charge of criminal trespass – damage more than $500, and a misdemeanor charge of simple battery.
