The City of Hiram is planning to close their offices on Friday, per an update from their social media today.
City officials posted this afternoon that they plan to keep the offices closed to the public on Friday, August 23, 2024, so employees can participate in the funeral service for Deputy Brandon Cunningham in the afternoon hours.
No postings have been put out so far from the City of Dallas or Paulding County’s government offices providing notice of closure for the day at this time.
Local law enforcement will be taking part in the funeral procession on Friday afternoon as Deputy Cunningham is escorted to his final resting place at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
