Ms. Katie Lea Self, age 27, passed away at her residence on Sunday, July 3, 2022.
Katie was born on April 10, 1995 in Marietta, Georgia to Ms. Patricia Lynne Loveless and the late Mr. John Leonard Self. Katie was of the Christian faith.
In addition to her father, Katie is preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, John and Katherine Loveless.
Katie is survived by her daughter, Lyndi Kash Self of McDonough; mother, Patty Loveless of Douglasville; brothers, Michael Loveless and his wife, Larra of Rockmart and John Michael Self of Gasden, AL; sister, Annie Self of Denver, CO and nephew, Noah Loveless of Rockmart. In addition, many other relatives and friends also survive.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 9. 2022 from 11 AM-1 PM at Benson Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1 PM with Reverend Thomas Cole officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a fund for Katie’s daughter, Lyndi.
