The Dallas Police Department caught up with a man they alleged is a “violent gang member” in a release earlier in the week when they made an arrest on August 22.
Rickey Coombs, 21, was booked into the Paulding County Jail last week after he was spotted by officers walking on Merchants Drive in the area of Old Harris Road.
Police previously sought him for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon that happened previously and a warrant was sought for his arrest in relation to that incident.
He was also jailed for a charge under the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act.
Coombs was being held without bond as of this posting.
